Brand website

Converse is a cool global shoe brand. They needed an equally cool interactive brand site to showcase their products and campaigns. DDB South Africa needed a digital partner to help them deliver the new website. We worked closely with DDB to plan, design and build a new website that met the requirements for the brief.


Bluegrass Digital were tasked to undertake the initial UX prototyping and planning. We worked closely with the DDB design team to develop a interactive interface that met the global brand guidelines. The new design received great responsives from the brand guardians and production was underway. 


The website is built on the Umbraco CMS platform which was perfectly suited to the scale and flexibility required for the future. The website was built with Ajax filters and a product catalogue to lay the foundations for Ecommerce in the future. There are also features such as a google maps integration piece to allow users to search for stockists and areas for handle campaign and events content.


The site is all dynamic and driven by Umbraco to allow editors to easily update product and content.
