Bluegrass built the original SAB Newlands CapeNET intranet back
in 2003 and when it came time to upgrade the intranet SAB once
again asked us to do so. This time round we sourced the intranet
requirements, designed a shiny new interface, used Umbraco CMS to
build the backend. Some of the new features included into the new
intranet include:
- Staff Address Book lookup and profile view
- Department organogram view
- Calendar widget to view company events
- Weather widget
- Image Gallery to view company photos
- Department level permissions
