RUN is a specialty running store with a reputation for excellence providing guidance and products for their customers. Customers are taken through a custom digital process using gait analysis to check and monitor foot, ankle and leg function to ensure you select the right shoe for you.
They wanted to extend their brand experience with an ecommerce platform that would also fulfil the role of marketing their business and drive community engagement and loyalty. The online store gives them a new channel to drive the sales of their shoes and accessories. The website uses WordPress together with WooCommerce as their ecommerce solution providing flexibility and scalability for full content, inventory and order management.
A unique feature on the new website is a virtual assistant called The Shoe Finder and helps customers find suitable shoes by taking them through a step by step process gathering inputs which will then provide results based on their running style and brand.
The online shop launched in 2019 and quickly provided positive results for the business with sales growing month on month. The new website also supports customer loyalty by allowing customers to re-order their favourite brand of shoe for home delivery.
